Is Your Business's Appearance Deterring Customers?

Even the most competitive pricing and the best customer service team will be irrelevant if the exterior of your business premises lets you down. A recent survey for a trade magazine revealed that a massive 95% of potential customers were influenced by a business's external appearance.
Create the best first impression of your business
Some respondents were affected to such a degree that it would deter them from entering if the exterior wasn't up to scratch. More than half (52%) of those who responded said they would be unlikely to enter business premises that had a tatty exterior.
Sometimes, companies overlook the fact that the front of their business is the first impression customers have. If it's unkempt, with overgrown grass, borders and bushes, weeds sprouting and cracked paving flags, this gives the impression you don't care. Moreover, it suggests to customers that your company may operate in the same slipshod way too.
To avoid customers being deterred before they've even set their foot through the door, consider having some commercial landscaping carried out. It doesn't have to look like Kew Gardens, but rather it's a case of making the best of what you already have. Even if the garden area outside your premises is small, it can still look tidy and welcoming, rather than like a mini-jungle.
If you're looking for commercial grounds maintenance in Milton Keynes, we can help and advise on how to make the best of your exterior areas so that they look welcoming to customers. As a local company, we're never far away, enabling us to carry out regular maintenance work of your grounds. In addition to landscape gardening, we'll go that step further, also litter-picking and washing your signage.
Landscaping is an obvious way to impress potential customers. Beautifully-crafted outdoor areas will be admired for their splendour and won't have potential clients running for the hills. Many business people say they don't have the time to maintain their exterior land. This is where employing the services of a commercial grounds maintenance team comes in.
Your business may be one of the best in the market and run with expertise and precision, but it's all to no avail if customers don't come in because your forecourt or gardens look like nobody cares.
