All of our services are firmly grounded in a philosophy of sustainability. We believe in working in harmony with the changing natural world rather than against it. For example, this means adopting strategies such as bark mulching, composting and re-cycling, and good organic materials. Although we are fully experienced in the application of pesticides, we look for alternative solutions wherever possible. Where the environment is suitable we will introduce biological controls in the form of natural predators for pest insects.

Also, we hold firm to an sustainable approach when dealing with the usual trimming and pruning waste. We leave some logs in the hedgerow when felling trees to encourage insects to breed and live there. They often like damp rotting wood.

Bird boxes can also be easily installed to encourage nesting and then provide both the pleasure and benefits of enhanced natural activity. Bat boxes too can be installed in appropriate locations.

Bees are removed and located somewhere where they can live without being a pest or nuisance to the public.
